Medical Oncology Department of Bayındır Söğütözü Hospital is accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI); performs updated treatment modalities which follows cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Cancer diagnosis and treatment of our patients, is planned with “tumor councils” that coexists of specialists of all related medical departments. In next stage, the most updated chemotherapy, Immunologic (that boosts the immune system) treatment, biological treatment, hormonal therapy and treatment administrations aimed at other target are done by experienced oncologic nurses. In proper indications, high dose treatment and bone marrow transplantation can also be done.
In our Medical Oncology Department; while oncologic treatment of our patient lasts, most appropriate support is tried to be provided to physical, psychologic and social problems of patients with psychologic evaluation, enteral-parenteral nutritional support, pain treatment, blood bank and neutropenic patient care services.
At Medical Oncology Department, we have agreements with nearly all private insurance and banks initially with SSI, İş Bank and Assembly.
