Mobilization is the passive application of pulling and / or rotation and / or
sliding movement in an increasingly wide, slow and often reproducible manner in
order to increase limited joint mobility.

Neuromuscular techniques (NMT) include treatment procedures that use direct
muscle activation or nerve-muscle reflex mechanisms to achieve movement and
muscle extension.
