The Department of Child Health and Diseases (Pediatrics)
consists of the “Healthy Child Unit” and “General Pediatrics
Unit”. We provide services in this department in order to regularly
monitor the development of babies from birth and children during the growth
process, to protect them from diseases, and to treat them with early diagnosis. In
our hospital, which received the “Baby Friendly Hospital” certificate
in 2006, we support the process of feeding babies with breast milk. In
this context, we provide mothers with breastfeeding counseling as well as
infant nutrition and care training through the “Nursery Class Program” within
our hospital. We provide routine health screenings and vaccinations for
babies. In addition to babies, we perform outpatient or inpatient
treatments of children under 16 years of age, under one roof, in the
comfortable environment of our hospital under the most suitable conditions.
The 0-12 age period is a period in which diseases are frequently
experienced in children. During this period, children need attentive care
and health checks. It should not be forgotten that diseases that are not
treated well in childhood may cause some problems in the following years.
