Children and adolescents can experience problematic
emotions, thoughts and behaviours that can cause significant issues for
themselves and their environment. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry aims to identify,

Treat and / or prevent these problems.

Child and adolescent psychiatry is considered until the
age of 18, and include;

mental deficiencies,

autism and asperger syndrome,

sleep disorders,

obsessions and compulsions,

eating disorders,

friend and family problems

social anxiety,

Sexual development and sexuality problems

The treatment process includes medical treatment,
psychotherapy, psychoeducation, family support and cohesion with schools. We
take on a holistic approach and work in cooperation with the child, family,
school and specialised treatment team, to ensure effectivty and maintenance of treatment.
