A successful oral treatment is only possible by a correct diagnosis. Oral
Diagnosis allows for the use of scientific knowledge to determine the
relationship between the problems inside and outside the mouth and to choose
the right treatment in line with the results.
A good oral diagnosis is made by extraoral, intraoral, and radiological examination.
All teeth and intraoral tissues are evaluated and information is given if
interventions are required for teeth with no complaints. In our
Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology department, diagnosis can be made for any
diseases in the mouth, teeth, or jaw and clinical and radiological treatment
determination can be done. The aim is to detect and evaluate any
pathologies or anomalies, if any, with radiographs taken from the mouth, teeth,
and jaw area. In light of this information, an patient-specific treatment plan
is prepared and the patient is directed to specialist clinics for these
treatments.
