Depression

Depression, which can be defined as an inability to enjoy life and a depressed mood, is one
of the most common psychopathologies today. In the depressed client,
various symptoms are observed along with depressive mood or loss of interest /
not enjoying life for at least two weeks continuously. Increase or
decrease in weight, difficulty falling and staying asleep or excessive sleep,
decreased self-care, restlessness, fatigue, exhaustion or loss of energy,
feeling of worthlessness, guilt, indecision, difficulty concentrating, thoughts
of death and suicide are among these symptoms. For these reasons, the
social and social roles of the client are damaged and their functionality may
be partially or completely impaired. Treatment with medication and / or
psychotherapy is very pleasant.

Bipolar (Bipolar) Disorder

It is a mood disorder that includes episodes of mania and
depression. During the manic episode, the client is in a constant,
unusual, exuberant mood from time to time. There may be an exaggerated
increase in self-esteem. His need for sleep has decreased, he sleeps less,
but he does not feel tired. He may be more talkative than ever. He
can jump from topic to topic while speaking. It can easily distract
attention from any external stimulus. Its purposeful effectiveness has
increased; For example, she may be sociable enough to disturb others in
sexual, social or work / school life. Excessive participation in enjoyable
activities, excessive spending, signing under many official documents … Its
functionality is impaired.

Panic attack

It consists of a period of intense fear and discomfort
that starts suddenly and can reach the highest level within an average of 10
minutes. During the counselee panic attack; palpitations, sweating,
tremors, shaking, shortness of breath or feeling of suffocation, shortness of
breath, chest pain or tightness in the chest, nausea or abdominal pain,
dizziness, lightheadedness, feeling like falling or fainting, fear of death,
fear of losing control may feel numbness, tingling sensation, chills, chills
and hot flashes. The person often experiences this with agoraphobia. In
other words, the client experiences excessive anxiety in places and situations
where he / she cannot provide help with the worry that he / she may get panic
attack unexpectedly and escape may be troublesome. For example, being
alone outside the house, being in crowded environments, using public
transport such as buses or trains. The client avoids these situations as
much as possible.

Panic Disorder

Recurrent panic attacks and concerns about other attacks
that follow these attacks for at least 1 month; The diagnosis is made by
feeling sad about the consequences of this attack (for example, having a heart
attack, going crazy …) and showing quite distinct behavioral changes
associated with the attacks. Agoraphobia often accompanies. In general,
these clients are directed after applying to various branches of physicians
such as emergency, internal medicine, cardiology and surgery before applying to
the psychiatry department.

Treatment of panic disorder with either medication or
psychotherapy gives very positive results.
