technological and scientific advances in recent years. Orthopedics and
Traumatology, which is one of the important surgical branches of Medical
Science, deals with the functions of the movement system, surgical and
conservative treatment of motion system diseases and injuries. . In addition,
it has undertaken important functions in terms of preventing these diseases and
injuries, namely preventive medicine.

Orthopedics aims to bring healthy individuals to the
society by treating the individuals affected by the motion system
diseases. Traumatology also aims to treat the impairments and disabilities
in the movement system as a result of accidents and injuries, to help
individuals regain their former movement functions and return the injured to
social life.
