The Department of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery delivers specialized tertiary care to patients requiring surgery for a variety of reasons and indications. We are the Second  in the world who has a successful Full Face Transplant from a dead donor last January 21 2012, headed by Dr. Ömer Özkan and his team  to a  19-year-old  Uğur Acar’s face was badly burnt in a house fire when he was a baby. The donor was 39-year-old Ahmet Kaya, who died on a day before the surgery performed We pioneered the use of innovative techniques to reconstruct the face after injury, trauma and cancer. We  also experienced in state-of-the-art surgeries to improve facial paralysis and relieve. Our surgeons have highly specialized training and a history of excellent outcomes.
