reason, in order to protect the health of the baby, delivery should be
performed in a health institution with a newborn intensive care unit.

Our newborn intensive care unit; With its equipment,
knowledge, experience and devotion, it provides the necessary life support to
all babies in need of intensive care, to bring babies to their families in a
short time, and the necessary resources for informing and educating families. Our
hospital has the characteristics of a “Tertiary Intensive Care Unit”,
which is defined as intensive care units that can provide medical care and
treatment.

Expert team-expert staff

Our unit has been arranged to serve newborn babies that
require advanced care; follow-up and treatments are given by neonatology
experts, experienced physicians and nurse staff.

Also, when necessary, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric
Cardiology, Neurosurgery, etc. Consultation support is received in all
branches.

In cases requiring Neonatal Intensive Care, if our
hospital is contacted, they are taken from the relevant center for our
ambulances and transported to our unit safely.

Hypothermia Method in Intensive Care Saves Lives!

The “Therapeutic Hypothermia” device, which is
put into service in our Neonatal Care Unit, the “lack of oxygen at
birth” that can be caused by the mother or the baby in the last stage of
pregnancy, “asphyxia” as it is called in medicine, is a dramatic
situation that we encounter very often in our country. The device is used
in the treatment of babies in these situations.

Being without oxygen for various reasons causes damage to
many vital organs of the baby, especially the brain. As a result, many
babies die and many of those who do survive experience permanent
damage. Due to this incurable situation, this dramatic picture has
continued for centuries.

With the ‘cooling’ method developed in recent years,
permanent damage can be prevented to a great extent in babies without
oxygen. In order for the treatment to be effective, it should be started
within the first 6 hours after birth.
