We provide professional support in Medical Oncology.
The Medical Oncology Department of Anatole Medical Center
provides diagnostic and treatment of all cancer types in addition to preventive
measures and screening of healthy individuals under risk. Treatment and
observation plans for cancer patients are developed through a
multi-disciplinary approach in cooperation with the departments of surgery and
Radiation Oncology.
Chemotherapy and all required procedures are performed by
highly qualified doctors and oncology nurses trained to handle psychological
and physical requirements of cancer patients. Chemotherapy patients are
also monitored by a team of doctors and oncology nurses outside the hospital.
We provide chemotherapy service at the Oncology and Chemotherapy unit of
Anatole Medical Center’s Ataşehir Outpatient Clinic.
In our center, we apply therapies specific to the patient
as well as immunotherapy (in which the immune system cells fight the tumor).
Our Medical Oncology Department, in cooperation with the departments of
Genetics and Pathology, determine therapies and medications specific to
the individual according to the genetic mutations and alterations determined by
looking at the genetic structure of the tumor. In our Medical Oncology
department, immunotherapy is also performed in certain types of cancer (lung,
malignant melanoma).
