Internal medicine

In the light of new technology and science, the
Department of Internal Medicine has started to be divided into sub-branches.

The general internal medicine department is the first referral department for the adult
patient group. Febrile diseases, respiratory tract, digestive system
diseases, liver diseases, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart diseases, trioid
diseases are taken into the initial diagnosis and treatment program by applying
to the general internal medicine unit.

In the diagnosis of the disease, we work in coordination with our radiology,
biochemistry specialists and in cases requiring surgical intervention, General
Surgery and other surgical branches.

Internal medicine, which is called internal diseases among the people, acts as a guide
for those who have health problems due to its wide range of science. Examinations
are usually initiated by this clinic and diagnosed, depending on the condition
of the disease, it is either treated by this unit or the patient is referred to
a higher branch.

Examination, diagnosis and treatment of Internal Diseases are carried out in our internal
medicine service and if necessary, referrals are made to more specific units
(such as ENT, Chest Diseases, Neurology, Physical Therapy, Cardiology).
