We provide professional support in No touch laser (eye laser surgery).
No touch laser– eye laser treatment without touching,
without contact
With No Touch Laser treatment, myopia, hyperopia and
astigmatism are treated without touching the eye.
It can be applied to myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism
with suitable eye structure. So, patients with distance and near vision
problems may be candidates for this treatment. It is a method that can be
applied to people who have had cataract surgery before, to patients with
retinal tears and prone to tears, provided that their eye structures are
suitable. Finally, No Touch Laser treatment
can be applied especially in cases with thin corneas and whose corneal
surface is steeper than normal.
The No Touch Laser treatment process starts with anesthetic
drops in the eye and the patient does not feel any pain during the
application. During the treatment, there is no device contact with the
eye, and the eye is treated directly with the rays emanating from the laser
device. All the patient has to do is look at the green light coming out of
the laser device. The procedure is completed in a short time like 50
seconds, by performing the same session for both eyes.
After the treatment, the eyes do not need to be closed,
the patient can go home by keeping both eyes open. In this process, the
patient is given UV protective glasses to protect the patient’s eyes. After
the patient goes home, complaints such as stinging, redness, discomfort from
the light and blurry vision of small prints on the television develop for 36
hours. It is aimed to make this process more comfortable with the drugs to
be prescribed to the patient. After the patient spends the first three
days at home, he comes for the control on the 4th day. On the 4th day
after the treatment, the patient starts working on the computer and at the end
of the 7th day, driving an automobile. As the healing process progresses,
the patient’s healthy vision experience will also increase. This process
can take approximately one month. There is no increase in the patient’s
eye number after no touch laser application.
Eyes should not come into contact with water for about 1
week. After the procedure, attention should be paid to the use of
prescribed eye drops for the period specified by your doctor. Care should
be taken to protect the eyes from UV light as much as possible, and care should
be taken to use sunglasses when the daylight is sharp. The vehicle should
not be driven immediately after the operation. For the healthy progress of
the healing process, rest for a certain period of time and tiring work should
be avoided.
In the wave front application, popularly
known as the ‘eagle eye’, light scattering and deviations in the eye are
measured and laser treatment is adjusted accordingly. When these
deviations are corrected with the wave front technique, the
treatment suitable for the person’s own eye structure is realized.
Treatment takes place without device contact with the eye.
