Eye Diseases Unit

It is a specialty in the diagnosis and
treatment of diseases of the surrounding tissues such as the eye and
eyelids, optic nerve, orbit (orbit) in both children and adults, and
treatment by medication, laser or surgical intervention.

Some Eye Diseases Are Below

 Refraction defects;

Hyperopia

 Myopia

Astigmatism

Presbyopia (Near vision impairment)

 Ambliopia (Amblyopia); Lack of development of
visual pathways due to poor vision due to reasons such as hypermetropia,
myopia, astigmatism, strabismus and cataracts. 

 CATARACT; Distortion of the transparency of the lens

Conjonctivit; Inflammation of the conjunctiva (the
layer above the white part of the eye)

Pterjium (Bird wing); Putting meat on the cornea
(the transparent layer in front of the eye)

Keratoconus; Thinning and protruding of the cornea.

GLOCOM (Eye pressure, black water
disease); Intraocular pressure increases and damages the visual
nerve 

RETINAL DISEASES;

Bleeding, edema and vascularity in the retina
due to diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, diabetes and high blood pressure.

Retinal vascular occlusions

Macular degeneration (Yellow spot disease)

Retinal tumors

Central serous retinopathy

 SHASHLIK; Disruption of the parallel movement
of the eyes, which should be in all directions

 UVEITS; Inflammation of the vascular layer
(uvea) in the eye

Ptosis; Droopy eyelid

Entropium; Inverted caps

Ectropion; Doors turn out

and glands in the flap
