In our Chest Diseases Department, inpatient and outpatient follow-up and treatment options are available. Chest radiography of our patients evaluated in the polyclinic, medicated or non-medicated lung tomography, respiratory function tests and blood tests related to diseases affecting the respiratory tract are performed and evaluated. In addition, bronchoscopy can be performed in the videobronchoscopy unit. When necessary, CT-guided lung biopsy, ultrasound-guided pleural fluid sampling and pleural fluid drainage for treatment can be performed with the interventional radiology department.
In our department, besides the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, pneumonia and lung cancer, allergy tests are performed and counseling is provided on ways to quit smoking.
