In our Department of Pediatrics, growth and development monitoring, all necessary
vaccinations, nutritional regulation and screening tests are carried out from
the moment of birth to adulthood. Newborns and pediatric patients of all
ages are treated by our Specialist Pediatricians. In addition, our
hospital, which has the title of “baby-friendly hospital” ,
places special emphasis on breastfeeding and special training is given to
mothers in this regard. Immediately after the first examination and care
of newborn babies, they are taken to their mother for breastfeeding.
Our healthy child follow-ups are done 5 days a week and half a day on Saturdays in
our polyclinics. These follow-ups are done first in the 1st week from the
birth of your baby, and then in the first year with 1 or 2 months’ intervals in
the first year and at 6 months or 1 year intervals after the second year in
accordance with the vaccination schedule. In these follow-ups, the
physical, social and psychological development of your baby / child is
evaluated, vaccinations are made and preventive medicine counseling is
provided.
