Eyelid surgery which is also referred as an eye lift or
blepharoplasty saves you from having puffy eyes; tired and older look by
reducing bagginess from lower eyelids and removing excess skin from the upper

under the eyes, crow’s feet or other facial wrinkles will be eliminated with this
surgery. While Soft wrinkles can be corrected with the help of injections of botox or fillers,
excessive skin can only be corrected with surgery. In some cases, it

excess skin on the upper lids or

How is eyelid surgery performed?

The blepharoplasty takes almost 1 hour and your doctor will use local
anesthesia. Your surgeon usually cuts along the natural lines of your
eyelids so that the resultant scars are concealed within the natural structures
of your eyelid region. With an incision on the eyelid, the upper eyelid
can be corrected with removal of fat or excess skin and tightening of muses.
The stitches-sutures, used to close the incision, are very small and removed
within the week while the lower lids may or may not require stitches.
