General surgery is the medical specialty which covers
treatment of general or regional problems in the body with surgical methods as
well as conditions such as injury and wound healing.
At the General Surgery Department of Anadolu Medical
Center, we primarily focus on surgeries of three systems. The first one is the
endocrine system that covers breast and thyroid cancers and adrenal tumors.
Surgeries are performed using minimal invasive methods particularly in adrenal
tumors. The second one is the gastrointestinal system that includes
laparoscopic colon and rectal cancer surgery as well as gastric cancer
surgeries. The third one focuses on the surgery of the hepatic, pancreatic and
biliary system which we describe as the hepatopancreaticobiliary system. In
addition to the traditional methods, minimal invasive methods are used for
gallbladder cancer and some hepatic tumors.
At our General Surgery Department, we provide various
services including not only surgery but also surgical intensive care,
parenteral / enteral feeding and treatment of surgical infections.

Anadolu Medical Center continues to provide healthcare services also at Ataşehir with its Outpatient Clinic. Procedural archives of patients who receive services at the Outpatient Clinic are kept in the virtual environment.
Having started to render service in June 2010 within the structure of the hospital, the Bone Marrow Transplantation Center performs bone marrow transplants for 22 patients at the same time. Our patients are always the number one priority at our hospital.
