However, it is not possible to directly observe the activities called mental or cognitive. For this reason, their existence is proved by observing the behaviors of organisms and using neurologically detected findings. In other words, the methods (observation, neurological examinations, and the like) used to analyze the behavior patterns that people exhibit during events such as sadness, joy, and imagination (psychiatric events) are included in the field of psychiatry.
