We provide professional support in Cardiology.
Cardiology is a branch of science dealing with the
diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular system diseases. It used to be a
sub-branch of Internal Diseases, but now it is a separate science. The
diseases that cardiology deals with are among the most important health
problems of today. In the last 20-30 years, there have been significant
advances in diagnosis and treatment in Cardiology with both the studies
performed and the advancement of technology. With these advances,
subgroups have been formed in Cardiology.
These;
Non-invasive Cardiology (Non-invasive): Deal with the diagnosis and
medical treatment of heart diseases without vascular intervention.
Interventional Cardiology (Invasive): It deals with the diagnosis
and treatment of coronary vascular diseases (balloon angioplasty, stent), as
well as the treatment of some valvular diseases and congenital heart diseases
with vascular intervention (angio).
Electrophysiology ( Arrhythmias and those dealing with pacemakers): The
branch of Electrophysiology deals with the diagnosis
and treatment of some rhythm disorders and palpitations and the treatment of
some dangerous arrhythmias or pacemakers used for heart failure.
Hypertension
Hyperlipidemia
Coronary Artery Diseases
Heart Failure
Valve Diseases
Congenital Heart Diseases
Rhythm Disorders
Arrhythmia diagnoses can be made, coronary angiography,
electrophysiology, pacemaker or cardiovascular operations are required, and
support is obtained from contracted centers.
Non-invasive examination methods are used in the
diagnosis of heart diseases in our hospital.
ECG The electrical activity of the heart is printed on paper by means of electrodes
attached to the patient’s chest. With this method, the coronary vessels
and conduction system are examined.
Echocardiography is a method of imaging and examining the
heart and blood flowing in the heart. It can be called an ultrasonographic
examination of the heart. Generally, EKO abbreviation is used in current
life. The chambers of the heart, the thickness and movements of the heart
walls, the opening and closure of the valves, the stenosis and insufficiency by
showing the blood flow passing through it, the contraction and relaxation
functions of the heart, the evaluation of the heart membrane and its diseases,
the estimation of the pressure of the pulmonary artery (especially important in
rheumatological diseases and lung diseases), It is an easy, reliable,
non-invasive test that we use in the evaluation of congenital heart diseases.
It is an easy test that is preferred first in determining
coronary artery diseases. By connecting ECG electrodes to the patient, the
speed of the band is increased, taking into account the age of each patient on
the treadmill. When the heart rate increases due to this, changes in the
ECG and arrhythmias are examined.
For the examination of rhythm disorders, ECGs of effort,
rest and sleep periods in 24 or 48 hours are recorded with ECG electrodes
connected to the patient and a small receiver. Records are evaluated in
computer environment.
This device is used in patients who have less frequent
complaints and therefore the problem cannot be determined with 24-48 hour
records. It is a smaller device. It has no cord and no electrode to
stick. The advantage of this device is that it only records when prompted,
rather than constantly monitoring the heart rhythm. When the patient is
complaining, it is instructed to press the device against the chest wall and
press the record button. Thus, it is ensured that the current heart rhythm
is recorded.
Since the device is not attached to the body, it does
not impose any restrictions in daily life.
With a blood pressure cuff connected to the patient’s arm
and a small receiver, blood pressures are recorded every half hour throughout
the day in home and office environments for 24 hours. By observing the
course of blood pressure throughout the day, it is determined whether there is
hypertension, its degree and risk levels.
In our hospital, these examinations are reported by a
cardiologist or under his control.
The 7-storey Private Medivia Hospital located in Çengelköy, one of the important centers of the two continents, is established on a 4000 square meter closed area and has a large car park, 26 service beds (2 suites, 24 standard), 25 incubator neonatal intensive care unit, 7 beds Our hospital with a total of 58 beds including adult intensive care unit, physical therapy and rehabilitation unit, radiology unit (MR, computed tomography, bone densitometer), sleep laboratory, endoscopy unit, 24 + 1 polyclinic room, 3 operating rooms, 2 delivery rooms, biochemistry / microbiology laboratory serves with emergency service and diagnostic units.
You will feel safe with our physician staff, nurse and assistant health personnel who can apply the preventive service and treatment approach in our hospital in the best way.
