Oil injection

Oils are usually taken from the abdominal area with the help of special
liposuction injectors. Waist and hip areas are among the other areas used
for fat intake.

Some of the fat cells transferred to their new location dissolve homogeneously, but 40-50% of the injected fat
remains permanent. The advantage of fat injection over hyaluronic
acid-containing filling methods is this permanence. After 6 months, fat
injection can be repeated if desired.

Fat injection takes 30-60 minutes. Although it can be performed under local anesthesia, it is
recommended that the oil injection be performed in the operating room
environment. Thus, the comfort of the patient can be increased if needed
with the help of sedative drugs. Since the process consists of many
stages, it must be applied in a completely sterile environment.

Even if the oil injection is performed under general anesthesia, the patient does not need to be
hospitalized. The patient, who is discharged on the same day, can return
home after the procedure. The first few days should be spent resting due
to excessive edema and possible bruises. The edema that occurs in the
following days begins to dissipate. It decreases over time and disappears
completely. The process is permanent.
