In tattoo removal, the Q switch is operated with a patented ND Yag laser. Depending
on the style of tattooing and the quality of the paint used, the tattoo is
completely or almost completely removed at the end of the sessions.
How is the process done?
Anesthetic cream is applied before tattoo removal. The laser shoots the pigments
under the skin without damaging the skin. Pigments are broken down with
the effect of sound and light. The body’s defense system more easily
swallows and destroys the small fragmented tattoo pigments.
In our center, first the skin on the tattooed area is slightly removed with fractional
laser and then Q switch laser is applied. Thus, the place where the
pigment is located is reached much faster. This combined process provides
more effective results.
How many sessions should be applied?
It requires multiple sessions. It is between 5-10 sessions on average. The number
of sessions is determined by the amount and type of paint applied while
tattooing and whether the tattoo is amateur or professional. In multiple
sessions, the application interval is determined according to the healing time
of the skin, with an average of 6-8 weeks. It is important not to touch
the treated area with water for 48 hours after the application and to comply with
the recommended treatment.
