In the Cardiovascular Surgery Department, all kinds of
open and closed heart surgeries are successfully performed for our patients
from all over the world, especially from Europe, the Turkic Republics and the
Balkans. In a patient who applied to our hospital with chest pain from the
Emergency Department, we performed invasive cardio logical interventions (amigo-angioplasty-stent)
and all cardiovascular surgeries on the same day under emergency conditions,
with the coordination of the Emergency Department, Cardiology Department,
Cardiovascular Surgery Department, Anesthesia and operating room personnel. It

Scientific name is “right anterolateral
mini-thoracotomy” and without cutting muscle and bone with a 4 or 5 cm
incision from the armpit; These are heart valve repair and replacement
surgeries performed without any incision on another part of the body. The
only difference between an anterior surgery and an armpit surgery is the
entrance. The procedure performed inside is standard heart surgery. In
heart valve surgeries performed under the armpit, the breastbone is not cut and
opened at 26-30 centimeters as in the anterior surgery.
