Chiropractic is a medical profession with foreign origin
used in the treatment of lower back, back and neck pain that are not caused by
fracture, cancer or rheumatism. Chiropractic is a word derived from ancient
Greek, meaning to practice using hands. Based on the fact that human organism
can protect its health, this treatment handles the human body as a whole. The
treatment aims to protect body health and improve resistance in natural ways.
The nervous system starts in the brain and passes through
the spinal column before spreading to the whole body. This communication
network controls multiple body functions such as sleep, digestion, immune
system and physical coordination. An axial disorder (subluxation) in the
natural spinal structure causes a break in the communication network between
the brain and the body. For this reason, the body is unable to perform its
functions properly.
In chiropractic treatment, there are more than 250
methods developed in time and varying according to the patient’s
characteristics. At Anadolu Medical Center, we use the Gonstead method in our chiropractic
applications.
Dr. Gonstead who gave his name to the Gonstead method was
a chiropractic doctor who lived in US. Dr. Gonstead who was an engineer before
he became a doctor examined the human body both as an engineer and a doctor.
The cause of misalignment is poor infrastructure as in the example of the
famous Pisa Tower in Italy. This infrastructure in human body is the hip. Dr.
Gonstead built his system on the opinion that “when hip bones and lower
bones of the back are level, there will be maximum balance in the spinal
column”, and analyzed the spine in a scientific manner and achieved good
results.

Anadolu Medical Center continues to provide healthcare services also at Ataşehir with its Outpatient Clinic. Procedural archives of patients who receive services at the Outpatient Clinic are kept in the virtual environment.
Having started to render service in June 2010 within the structure of the hospital, the Bone Marrow Transplantation Center performs bone marrow transplants for 22 patients at the same time. Our patients are always the number one priority at our hospital.
