The General Surgery Department of our hospital is among
the departments that provide intensive service.

Our General Surgery Department provides services in
subjects such as breast, endocrine, liver – pancreas – biliary tract, colon
rectal surgery and laparoscopic surgery with its staff consisting of
experienced and specialist surgeons.

In our General Surgery Department, any intervention for
diagnosis and treatment can be performed by endoscopy. Applications that
shorten the treatment process of the patient are successfully carried out.

In our hospital, all surgical procedures performed in the
field of general surgery are performed with advanced technical equipment,
accompanied by experienced surgeons, anesthesiologists, and experienced and
trained staff.

Laparoscopic devices both allow the operation process to
be shortened and allow the patient to return to his normal life in a short time
with some advantages they offer.

6-Pilonidal Sinus (Hair Rotation):
Various treatment methods have been applied and developed for this disease, and
the search for treatment is still ongoing. However, recurrence of the disease
is still the main problem. Surgical methods can be summarized as open
surgery, semi-open surgery and closed surgery (primary closure, flap
closure). The appropriate method is chosen according to the condition of
the disease and the surgeon’s preference.

7-Hernia diagnosis and surgical treatments: Surgical
treatments for
inguinal hernia, umbilical hernia, thigh hernia, gastric hernia, and
postoperative hernias. In the treatment of hernia in our hospital, hernia
repair with mesh (synthetic patch) is generally applied and recommended.

8-Diagnosis and treatment of stomach diseases:
Surgical treatment after gastric perforation and bleeding, gastric tumor
operations

9-Laparoscopic surgery:
It refers to the endoscopic video-guided surgeries of the abdominal organs with
small incisions made in the abdominal wall and the apparatus placed in the
abdomen using these incisions. Nowadays, gall bladder surgeries are
performed laparoscopically, gall bladder, appendicitis, hernia and stomach
perforation operations can be performed in our hospital.

10- Treatment of
varicose veins : In our surgery clinic, diagnosis and treatment
applications (medical treatment, sclerotherapy, pike excisions and varicose
surgeries) can be successfully performed.
