Nuclear Medicine Department; gives service having a purpose of both as diagnostic and treatment by showing its patients high level care with its experienced team since the first day it opened. Current examinations aimed at investigating all systems of the body are made with Millennium MG dual-head Gama Camera and Halogen QDR 4500 Bone Densitometry.
Our preferred department for nuclear medicine examinations that has a special place in diagnosis of kidney diseases seen at child age group, keeps track of a great number of patients with years of experience about this subject. Especially newborns and babies getting prepared for examinations that will be done, injections and other treatments are made by an experienced team consisted of attending physician, nuclear medicine technician and nurses experienced in their subjects.
Nuclear cardiology studies aimed at investigating the cardiovascular system and monetarizing the diagnosis, follow-up and treatments are also leading works of our department.
With the Department of Interventional Radiology, in treatment of liver tumors and metastasis, Intra-arterial Radionuclide Treatment (radio embolization) with Yttrium 90 Microspheres is successfully performed in our department.
