Patient Rights Unit

Health services are indispensable for the rights and responsibilities of people due to their vital
importance. We respect all the rights of all of our patients and relatives who
apply to our hospital during the time they are served by our hospital. With the
resources that we prepare by taking advantage of the Ministry of Health in
Turkey’ s Patients’ Rights Regulations, we aim to inform our patients about the
rights they have and the responsibilities they need to fulfill when purchasing

Patient rights

It is the whole of the applications which are secured by international and national
legislation and which are demanded for medical assistance and applied to a
health institution for this purpose in order to protect their rights within the
whole service process given to him in that health institution. Patient Rights
aims at maintaining high levels of human health and giving high quality health
care services.

1. Use of Services

All of our patients who apply to our hospital
have the right to benefit from all services without discrimination of language,
religion, race or sect. Our patients have the right to benefit from preventive
and curative health services that are necessary for their health to continue
their life.

2. Informing and Requesting Information Rights

Our patients have the
right to receive information about both their health status and current health
services and how to benefit from them, to see and obtain documentation about
themselves and their illnesses.

3.Approval Rights

Our patients have the right to ask for acceptance, refusal or discontinuation of the recommended
treatment after being adequately informed.

4. Selection and Replacement of Health Establishment and Personnel

Our patients have the right to choose which diagnosis and treatment method to use,
the doctors, nurses and other health personnel responsible for their treatment.

5. Privacy and Confidentiality

Our patients have the right to demand that the
contents of personal information, health conditions, diagnosis and treatment
processes or special visits are kept confidential. As long as there is no
medical requirement and the patient does not allow it, the information about
his / her private and family life will not be shared with people outside him
for whatever reason.

Our patients have the right to talk to, or
refuse to see, those who are not directly involved in their treatment.

Our patients have the right that all of the
informations obtained during diagnosis and treatment, even if they lose their
life are kept. This information is explained only in the direction of the
court’s decision or the clear consent of the patient.

6. Respect to the patient

Our patients and their relatives have the right to receive health care in a clean
contemporary environment with a gentle caring approach.

7. About The Religious Principles

Our patients have the right to fulfill their
religious principles as long as it doesn’t affect the treatment.

8. Visitation Rights

Our patients have the
right to receive visitors and to be accompanied in accordance with the
procedures and principles determined by our hospital.

9. Security

Our patients have the right to protection from
risks in the protection of life and property safety and health services and
medical errors.

10. Requesting consensus

If our patients accept the responsibilities,
they have the right to request consultation with a specialist from a different
branch to get information about the health status from another physician who
works in the same branch other than the physician dealing with the treatment.

11. Complaints / comments and suggestions

Our patients have the right to initiate a
complaints mechanism in our hospital in case of the negligence of their rights,
to be observed, concluded and informed about the result.

Patient Responsibilities

It can be described as the duties and
obligations that the patient has to fulfill without applying to a health
institution and in the period after the application.
