What is Pregnancy Vaccine?

It is a vaccine made to stimulate the inner lining of the
uterus and make it much more prone to hold the embryo. Thanks to the
pregnancy vaccine, the embryo attachment to the uterus and the chance of a live
baby can be increased, especially in IVF treatment.

However, it will be more appropriate to apply the method to patients with thin
uterine membranes. Pregnancy vaccine, which is a popular method of recent
years, has been used in some clinics for a while. However, it should not
be explained to patients as if it is a miraculous method. The aim is to
stimulate the inner lining of the uterus to ensure a better adherence of the
embryo. For this purpose, the treatment is started by giving a drug that
stimulates the immune system to the patient, and after 2-3 weeks, the cells that
will repair the inner lining of the uterus are separated from the blood taken
from the patient, they are reproduced in a laboratory environment in a special
medium, and different growth factors and hormones are secreted. It is
aimed to obtain a better place for the embryo by giving these cells into the
uterus before embryo transfer.

In some cases, even if the embryos develop healthy, there is no attachment due
to the problems in the uterus. In such cases, problems with the uterine
inner membrane are predicted as the most important cause. The thinning of
the uterine lining for any reason, adhesion, space-occupying mass (polyps,
fibroids), inflammation should be evaluated with uterine film and examination,
and if any, these problems should be corrected by surgery. After these
conditions are ruled out, this vaccine can also be applied because of the
adhesion problem in patients who do not adhere and who have a miscarriage,
although good quality embryos are given.

How Is Pregnancy Vaccine Administered?

On the day of egg collection, the patient’s own blood is taken first and the reparative cells in
this blood are separated from this blood. Then, by creating a culture in
special containers, these cells are reproduced and some supporting hormones and
factors are added. The liquid obtained in this way is called pregnancy
vaccine.

The eggs collected from the woman are brought
together with the sperm collected from the male in a laboratory environment and
fertilized. The healthiest embryos obtained in this way are selected and
the day of transfer is reached.
1-2 days before embryos are transferred to the
uterus, the thickened part of the uterus for transfer is determined with
ultrasound guidance. Pregnancy vaccine created from the woman’s blood is
administered into the uterus after the cervix is ​​washed. With the pregnancy vaccine, it was determined that the
uterus would allow the embryos to be transferred later to settle and develop
more easily. It is thought that with this vaccine, the embryo can hold
much more easily.
It is observed that embryos transferred to the

higher rate and the pregnancy rates increase in parallel with this.
Since it is a newly developed method, its
