One of the important elements of preventive and curative health services is a healthy
diet. Specialists of the Nutrition and Diet Department inform their
clients about how to have a diet suitable for their lifestyle and about healthy
nutrition and life. In addition, it supports its counselees on how the
diet should be applied during the illness, what the rules to be followed in the
preparation and cooking of foods.
During the first examination, the Nutrition and Diet Department specialist learns the
nutritional problems (weight, disease) of the individuals in detail and
examines their nutritional habits, determines the age of metabolism, body fat,
muscle, water ratio and their distribution with a body analyzer. Then, in
line with age, height, gender, physical activity and blood findings, a
“personalized nutritional treatment” is planned and followed up regularly.

suitable for diseases, infant, child, adult, elderly and pregnant-lactating
nutrition.
