EEG

Electroencephalography is a neurophysiological evaluation
that measures the electrical activity of the brain. This measurement is
made through electrodes placed on the scalp.
It is used in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of some neurological
diseases. It is especially used to differentiate between epilepsy and
syncope or to determine the type of epilepsy, and to monitor the life functions
of patients hospitalized in intensive care.

EMG

Electromyography is a neurophysiological
method based on measuring the electrical activity of muscles and
nerves. EMG is used in the diagnosis of diseases involving the spinal
cord, nerve root, nerve fibers, muscle nerve junction and muscles. It is
used for diagnosis and differential diagnosis in diseases such as waist and
neck hernia, Carpal Tunnel syndrome, muscle diseases, nerve injuries,
Myasthenia Gravis, ALS.
