FACELIFT
Face lift surgery is also known as ‘Rhytidectomy’. Face lift surgery eliminates sagging skin of face and neck and also fat deposition in the jowl. Subcutaneous fascial tissue is tightened.
Optimal candidates of face lift surgeries include healthy persons who have early stage sagging in facial and neck skin, but elasticity of the skin is not totally lost. This surgery is usually performed for men and women aged >40. Face lift surgery can be combined with nose and eyelid aesthetics, forehead lift and eyebrow lift surgeries in order to make face look younger and more beautiful. Injection of filler materials (fat, hyaluronic acid etc.) or peeling (mechanical, chemical, laser) is performed to manage thin wrinkles.
WHAT IS LIPOSUCTION?
Liposuction or removal of fat is one of the terms that comes to mind when aesthetic surgery is mentioned. A recent study conducted in the U.S. shows that liposuction is among most common ones of aesthetic surgery procedures both in men and women. Overweight and besity have been causes trouble since 1980’s – a period characterized with convenience food, sedentary life and stress. Liposuction represents a solution for people, who could not have brought healthy eating and exercise into life since 1980’s and have strong aesthetic concerns.
RHINOPLASTY
Rhinoplasty usually takes one and half to two hours. Nasal skin, bone and cartilaginous roof are separated during rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty may vary depending on the existing nasal problem and the technique used by the surgeon. At the end of the rhinoplasty, reconstructed nasal roof is covered by the nasal skin. When rhinoplasty is ended, a plaster splint will be applied on the nose in order to maintain new shape of the nose. Nasal packs or soft plastic splints can be inserted into the nose in order to stabilize the septum – a structure that divides intranasal airway into to compartments .
