Adult Intensive Care

In our Intensive Care Unit, our expert doctor staff and experienced intensive care
nurses provide 24-hour service. Our Hospital Adult Intensive Care Unit has
27 beds and is equipped with Mechanical Ventilators, patient monitoring
monitors, infusion pumps and other necessary equipment at the head of each
bed. In addition, with the Hemodialysis and Hemodiafiltration Device in our
Intensive Care Unit, it is ready to use in case of “need for an intensive care
unit” for patients with sudden kidney failure or chronic dialysis. All
laboratory tests and imaging tests can be applied to patients hospitalized in
the intensive care unit at any time of the day. Body functions that are
impaired due to temporary or permanent failure of one or more organs due to
surgical intervention or other reasons; Supporting the disease until the
disappearance of the disease causing the disease and covering the treatment and
care for the survival of the patient in this process, especially using
supportive and therapeutic devices, especially artificial breathing apparatus
(Mechanical Ventilator), physicians, nurses and technicians trained in their
staff that require high level of knowledge. It is defined as the service it
receives.

In the Intensive Care Unit of our hospital, Hemodialysis, Hem perfusion and
Hemodiafiltration services can be provided to each of the 27 beds at the
bedside (without the need to transport the patient to any unit). In our
Intensive Care Unit, where critical patients are admitted, all kinds of
follow-up, treatment and care services related to the patient are carried out
by the department staff. The following group of patients are generally
accepted to our unit, where patients who meet the criteria for intensive care
of our hospital are admitted:

Sudden cardiac and respiratory stops

Patients in all kinds of shock

Patients who require close follow-up after major surgery

Patients who have had a cerebral hemorrhage

Patients with sudden stroke (Ischemic or Hemorrhagic SVH)

Acute respiratory failure, (Lung trauma, pulmonary edema, Choking, etc.)

Chronic respiratory failure (COPD, Restrictive Type Lung Diseases etc.)

Respiratory failure due to systemic diseases (Heart Failure, Liver Failure etc.)

Severe metabolic disorders and Acid-Base imbalances

Patients with serious infections

All kinds of poisoning that disrupts or is expected to impair vital functions

General body trauma (such as head, chest, abdominal and extremity trauma)

Patients with Nervous-Muscular System diseases (such as Myasthenia, ALS)

Diabetic comas,

Sudden renal failure requiring emergency dialysis

Chronic Renal Failures with Respiratory Failure

Pregnancy poisoning (such as Pre-eclampsia, Eclampsia, HELLP Syndrome)

Patients in the terminal stage of a disease known to be incurable and whose admission to
the normal ward is not suitable for the purpose

Our adult intensive care unit must contract with ssi

Private Güngören Hastanesi (GungorenHospital) is located in Güngören, European side of
İstanbul City. Our 27-bed Critical Care Unit, we admit the critically ill
patients, and in our CCU we can also perform Hemodialysis, Hem perfusion and
Hemodiafiltration.
