Anesthesia is a term used in surgery in medical science. With the
anesthesia procedure in the field of anesthesiology, certain parts of the body
or the whole body are rendered insensitive during the operation. The
purpose of doing this procedure is to prevent the patient from suffering during
the surgery. In our Anesthesiology and Reanimation Unit, patients are
prepared for surgery with anesthesiologists and are under the control of
specialist physicians during the operation. General anesthesia, local
anesthesia and regional anesthesia are applied according to the type of
operation to be performed in our hospital.

The pain that may occur after the surgery is controlled
by anesthesiologists and precautions are taken. The patient’s conditions
such as blood pressure, pulse, electrocardiography, blood oxygenation are
constantly monitored by anesthesiologists.

The Anesthesiology and Reanimation Unit plays an
important role in the treatment of patients with chronic painful
diseases. With the evaluation and diagnosis of the disease, our specialist
physicians apply pain treatment and other treatments in line with medical bases
to increase the quality of life of our patients. In addition, in our
General Intensive Care, neurological, respiratory and circulatory pathologies
and diseases that endanger life are followed and treated. These include
poisonings, pneumonia, sepsis due to infections (blood poisoning) and more
severe forms, all life-threatening conditions in the head and similar diseases,
and finally, diseases that are followed and treated. Patients are treated
with all treatment options with proven treatment efficiency.
