LIPOSUCTION (VACUUM)

It is the process of absorbing and removing fat from the body with cannulas inserted through the body through a small hole. It is successfully applied for belly, hips, knees, waist sides, back region, ankles, arms and underside of the chin. The number of fat cells in the body of adults is constant. The number of cells does not change by weight gain, only the size of the cell changes. Liposuction surgery is not a method of slimming. It is aimed to eliminate bulges and deformations where there are fat depositions that cannot be reduced by sports and diet. Fat cells that have increased in volume are removed and thus the total number of fat cells is reduced. The operation can be performed with local anesthesia, sedation anesthesia, spinal anesthesia or general anesthesia according to the area. A pre-prepared solution is given to the area which reduces bleeding and facilitates fat removal. Afterwards, the fat tissue is sucked out with the help of vacuum through thin cannulas. The amount to be removed safely is 3-5 liters. Further measures should be taken for greater amounts. According to the amount, the person may be discharged on the same day or may stay in the hospital for a day. A corset should be worn for 4-6 weeks after the operation. The pain is not very severe after the operation and it can be controlled with painkillers. There will be bruising and swelling. There may be fluctuations in liposuction areas. Some of these can be corrected with lpg. If the amount to be taken is too much, two or three sessions should be planned.
