Emergency

All Emergency Services opened to provide emergency patient care services should
have the necessary personnel and materials to evaluate each patient who
presents with an urgent complaint. Stabilization of patients who are found
to have an emergency medical condition should be ensured, necessary
interventions and requests should be made, treatment should be initiated and
the best service should be provided until the patient’s care is
completed. Due to the nature of medical emergencies and acute illnesses
and injuries, they have not been planned before, and because they occur
independently from each other, there should be physicians, nurses and assistant
health personnel who are authorized and experienced in patient care 24 hours a
day, and who have been trained in emergency medicine.

Emergency Department physician, nurse and other healthcare professionals are an
indispensable part of the medical care system. Emergency Service workers
should establish effective working relationships with other healthcare
professionals and social workers in pre-hospital and inpatient units, and
provide services jointly with these people.
The emergency department should be employed with well-trained and qualified
emergency medicine staff and a specialist physician and a responsible nurse who
can provide 24-hour service must be included in this team.

Ideally, an emergency physician should be present in emergency rooms 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week.
Nursing services in emergency departments should be carried out by a
responsible higher nurse.
Emergency patient care begins in the pre-hospital area, continues in the
emergency room, and ends with the transfer of the patient to another doctor or
discharge. In order to provide the best care for an urgent patient, the
delegation of this responsibility should be legal and efficient in a
predetermined approach.

The emergency service of our hospital consists of the following units

1-Internal examination and intervention room

2-Surgical intervention room

3-Serum insertion and injection room

4-Adult and pediatric observation rooms

All kinds of internal and surgical examination, intervention, injection, serum
insertion, hospitalization and treatment of patients under observation, all
kinds of incisions that require surgical intervention, traffic accidents,
occupational accidents with our emergency physicians, nurses and auxiliary
staff available 24/7 in these units. Immediate medical and surgical
intervention services are provided by our experienced emergency team in cases
of burns, etc.
