The surgery is done under general anesthesia. The
duration of the operation varies between 2-4 hours depending on the degree of
sagging of the breast and whether or not it needs to be filled.

lifted and plumped at the same time. If the person’s own tissue is not
sufficient in this plumping, help is also taken from silicone prostheses or fat
injection methods. At the same time, the enlarged and sagging nipple is
brought to the place and size it should be.
In this surgery, scars are left at different rates depending on the degree of sagging
towards the nipple and sub-breast fold area. It should be known that there
is no breast lift surgery that does not leave a scar. However, these scars
become less noticeable over time.
If the nipple does not sag downward too much and there is a small amount of sagging
together with the lack of volume, prosthesis is placed in this type of breasts
and both breast fullness is provided and the breast is lifted.
Since the milk ducts in the breast are not affected much, it is very rare to have
breastfeeding problems.
The patient is discharged on the day of surgery or after
staying in the hospital overnight. Except for the pain that decreases with
painkillers on the first day, pain is not expected with other days.
There are swelling and bruises around the breast, which usually last 2 weeks. In
some patients, drains are placed into the breast to be removed after 1-2 days.
Sports bras are worn for 3-4 weeks after the operation. If the patient does not work
in jobs that require heavy work, he continues to work after the third day. It
is recommended to stay away from heavy exercise and work for about a month.
Breast lift surgeries are good results that can give a good image to the breast. However,
it should not be forgotten that there may be some sagging after the operation
due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, rapid weight gains and loss, and gravity with
age.
