suitable patients for breast augmentation with fat injection are patients with
high fat ratio in their body. At the same time, the amount of regional oil
is reduced in this way.

How are the prostheses used in breast augmentation operations?

Silicone prostheses are of 2 types, drop (anatomical) and
round. The suitability of the prosthesis is decided according to the
person’s breast structure, height, shoulder-trunk relationship, breast skin,
patient’s request and the situation deemed appropriate by the surgeon. The
outer wall of breast implants consists of a silicone sheath. They are
products with silicone gel inside. Its walls are rough or smooth. It
has different dimensions in terms of volume, base diameter and height.

It is very unlikely that any health problems will occur
in breast augmentation surgery performed with FDA-approved, state-of-the-art
prostheses. Studies have not found a relationship between silicone
prosthesis and breast cancer. Breast prostheses are used for many
years. They do not need to be changed unless a problem occurs.

This question is one of the most common questions for
women. Many young women who are not mothers hesitate to have breast
augmentation for this reason. However, research has also shown that the
applied prosthesis does not prevent breastfeeding.

How is breast augmentation surgery performed?

The operation takes about 1-2 hours. The patient is
discharged after staying in the hospital on the same day or overnight.

Silicone prostheses are placed in 3 methods, depending on where they are placed in the
breast, under the muscle (pectoralis major muscle), under the muscle or both
under the muscle and above the muscle (Dual plan).

The prosthesis is most often placed at the sub-breast fold, less frequently around
the nipple, armpit area or the belly area.

Very slight breast sagging is also eliminated with breast augmentation surgeries. However,
it is beneficial to include breast lift surgeries in moderate and advanced
sagging.
