We provide professional support in Rhythm holter.
Long-term ECG recording using a portable ECG
recorder is called Rhythm Holter. A light device carried
by the patient with a belt worn around the waist records ECG for 24-48-72
hours. Rhythm holter is the process of recording the electrical activity
of the heart from at least three channels for 24 hours. Records are
uploaded to a computer and analyzed, and it is possible to evaluate heart
rhythm and many parameters.
The breakdown of Holter recordings is examined and it is
investigated whether an abnormality has developed in the electrocardiography.
Rhythm Holter examination is mostly done to evaluate the problems
in the electrical activity of the heart during the normal daily life of the
person.
In the diagnosis of rhythm disorders
(palpitation, atrial fibrillation, barycardia, etc.)
In the evaluation of the diagnosis and
treatment of cardiovascular diseases that do not cause complaints
In monitoring treatment in rhythm or vascular diseases
In some complaints of the patient (especially
in fainting), investigating whether the complaints are related to the heart or not.
By recording the heartbeats for a long time,
rhythm disorders and the highest and lowest values of the heart rate during the day can be detected, thus the most
appropriate treatment method is determined.
It is a device that is attached to a belt like a mobile phone and
is attached to the chest by means of 3-4 cables and electrodes (3-4 cm diameter
adhesive material made of soft plastic). While the person continues
his/her normal daily life, the device records the heart electrolyte for the
scheduled time. At the end of the period, the device is removed and the
records are analyzed on the computer.
Thanks to this device, all rhythm disorders
originating from the heart such as palpitations, chest pains, and fainting
sensations that are not seen during the examination but last for a short time
during the day can be detected. Before the Holter examination, you should
especially ask your doctor if you need to stop the medications you are taking
before the examination. After the Holter device is inserted, repeat the
events that created your complaint, for example, if your complaint occurs over
coffee, or if it happens when you go up stairs, go up the stairs.
Our center, which was established in 1992, started to monitor the electrolyte of our patients for 24 hours with portable devices that can send ECG signals over the phone for the first time in our country. In this system, the ECGs taken from the patient are instantly evaluated on the computer screen and if an abnormal situation is detected, the patient’s doctor is immediately contacted and informed. At the same time, the patient’s ECG is instantly transmitted to the doctor by fax. When necessary, the patient is transferred to the nearest equipped hospital. Cardiologists were serving 24 hours a day in the center. Redline transtelephonic monitoring system, which served mostly for follow-up purposes when it was established, was preferred in the following years for long-term monitoring of arrhythmias that could not be diagnosed with 24-hour Holter. In addition, 12 derivation devices have been given to doctors and polyclinics in different parts of Turkey; Instant comments were made with the signals sent from the place, information was transferred to urgently needed interventions and hundreds of patients’ lives were saved.
Our organization also brought a 24-hour holter to our country alongside the transtelephonic holter, and continued to make its name known in the cardiology community as the first holter center in private.
Our organization, which pioneers the changing conditions and innovations in the health system, continues to be different in its field by working with high quality and reliable advanced devices in cardiology in the world.
The reason why our center, which has been serving for many years, is permanent is the philosophy in our view of people. It is to help from the heart regardless of their economic situation
