Patients with Diabetes Mellitus are followed by a senior team consisted of staff physicians, diabetes training nurses and dieticians in Endocrinology and Metabolism Diseases Department. The main condition for coping with diabetes in today’s conditions is to have information about this disease. Patients are given individual training by diabetes training nurses and given Diabetes Patient Identity Card and brochures. The main aim of the trainings given is to give this conscious to patient and to explain them that they are not helpless against this disease.
