In the field of cancer surgery, minimally invasive surgeries are
used, which play an important role in the treatment of cancer.
The Multidisciplinary Tumor Council discusses the treatments we use with patient evaluation meetings to
determine patient-specific treatment plans.
In our General Surgery section; Breast cancer and benign diseases of the breast, esophageal
cancer and benign diseases, gastric cancer, colon-rectal tumors, anorectal
tumors, benign and malignant tumors of the liver, cysts, gallbladder and bile
duct tumors, pancreatic cysts and tumors apply surgery.
Gynecological Oncology Department, which is interested in gynecological cancers in the Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology; Laparoscopic procedures are used for the
treatment of cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, vulvar-vaginal cancer and
trophoblastic tumors.
Under the section Brain Surgery Oncology (Oncology in Neurosurgery); Surgical treatment of brain
and spinal cord tumors, brain stem tumors is applied.
A multidisciplinary approach is also important in the treatment of urological cancers. In addition to
kidney and testicular cancer, other urological oncology surgeries are performed
by a team of experienced urological surgeons.
